In the darkness
There's a darkness that surrounds me, it breaks my soul. My heart is fighting to hold on, but what a weak competitor it proves to be. The dark, it dragged me under and locked me away. Like a slap in the face I was shown loneliness. A dark knight in all his glory, no silver lining, no sweet words. My soul to him was given with no consent and in all truth his love was forbidden. In the shadows with little care I was destroyed, the darkness broke through me like a knife to my heart. So bid your goodbyes if any for I have been gone all along. Without the weakness of love to cripple me I've killed myself all alone with no more than the pasts' ghost.
