Favorite Quote:
I put my heart and my soul into my work, and have lost my mind in the process.
Vincent Van Gogh

In spite of everything I shall rise again: I will take up my pencil, which I have forsaken in my great discouragement, and I will go on with my drawing.
Vincent Van Gogh

I am falling.
How do I know you're there?
I need saving.
So I'll say another prayer.

I need to know what you mean.
So for now, it seems
that on you, I'll have to lean.
And I'll have to trust the unseen.

I am lost in a storm.
The rain falls heavily.
And I need help.
I need someone heavenly.

But I can't see you.
How do I know you're there.
I need saving,
So I'll say another prayer.

I need to know what you mean.
So for now, it seems
that on you, I'll have to lean.
And I'll have to trust the unseen.

You're like the wind.
You're like gravity.
I feel you there,
but I just can't see.

I need faith.
I need You.
You can set me free
And You love me too.

The author's comments:
My faith was wavering the day that I wrote this poem. I knew God was there to take care of me, and there were signs that He would catch me if I fell. I couldn't see Him. I couldn't see the things He wanted me to do. I had to have complete faith in Him, and once I chose to just trust in Him, He caught me. I just had to believe in the unseen.
