Behind This Wall
I wish to speak the words that linger in my mind
But they are trapped behind this wall
That keeps me from bursting each thought to the world
But I know one day it will all creep out
And this wall will collapse to the ground
Then will the world see the real me?
Will they notice who I am meant to be?
Will they see there is more to me than it may seem?
Yet I cannot speak the words that linger in my mind
As they are trapped behind this wall
Which only stands because I am too weak with fear to push it down
I am too scared to show the world who I really am
Who the girl in this mysterious enclosure truly is
And I worry of the reactions when they see the reality
And the other half of me
But for now they will not know
As I will stay hidden here behind this wall
Until I gain the strength to finally have it plummet to the ground
