Shattered
We live in a world that is shattered,
Shattered, broken, torn to pieces,
where hate,love and lust
are all a must
Where evil fills the hearts of young ones,
Where black smoke cover our suns,
In a world where people want change,
But want everything in exchange,
Where is good has become bad,
And happy has become sad.
But very few people walk the streets day to day,
Doing things, saying things that most people will not say.
They give people such as I,
A glimmer of hope in these hateful times.
A simple smile, or even a "hello"
Is enough to make ones heart glow,
Here remains the simple truth,
Will you be the one to change the youth?
