Escape
Tears fall from her eyes like rain,
Just reminders that she may be insane.
Staring out the window sill,
Hoping desperately to have the will,
To escape
Waiting and wonering,mental slaughter,
How could he have forgotten his own daughter?
She wonders, "Shouldn't he have already come?"
Then turns her thoughts off and goes numb
Just to escape.
