Dream One Last Time
Let me stay asleep.
I'm still counting sheep.
I am peaceful.
I dreamt of the day the Earth stopped spinning.
The scientific theories were finally winning.
I am scarred.
We all breathe one last day.
Thousands would pray.
I can't think.
They all want to hear,
That they won't die in fear.
I am silent.
Leave us to sleep.
We are still counting sheep.
I am peaceful.
