It's a Snow Day

It's a snow day.
Quite a plow day.
Stock went down on the DOW day.
Work all day for a pennies pay.
Teenage dreams like white waves,
Passing over like mind's play.
We think too much about futuristic fads,
Maybe we should look at our dear old Dads.
Clocking in, day after day.
Feeding the family with an honest pay.
Don't you know it's not all about you?
Sometimes you have to think of other's too.
Live your life right here and now,
Forward and back, no longer aloud.
It's a now day.
