Your Face - My Light
I'm groping in the dark, wondering..
"Who turned off the lights?"
For that's how it feels when
life is full of tights
But then I see a light!
Shining ever so bright!
it dispels all my fears,
it calms all my nerves.
I ask myself,
"What is this light?"
my heart tells me,
"Now everything's alright."
And so it is!
When I see Your face dear Friend,
all my anxieties come to an end.
For yours is the face
I look forward to seeing,
even if it's raining, snowing or sleeting.
Blessed is the day I decided to call you,
"Friend"
A friendship that I know will never end.
For as sure as the sky is blue,
I could never have found ,
A Friend so True.
