simply put, June 2009
caught in the thought of a stage light
a man with one hand in his pocket, offering nicotine and insight
now the heroine's spine is curved and she spins just like a lamp
you'd never see her shine, strong soul,
over abrasion, erasers, braille, frail, well thought out plots of land
under 2 generations of success and no knowledge of days farther
father feeds, mother's on her knees, no, she cries
even protagony isn't tall enough to know
even antogany is strong enough to show
light in yonder horizon, the curtains shudder slightly
in the synopsis they couldn't cover, only speak of strife and success
there, on this this stage, there is life
