Love loves itself
I wanted to love you,
and be loved in return.
So my soul won’t burn,
turning me away from you.
Loss of love kills me.
Not my goal.
Opening,
Opening,
the hole in the seal that gives me life.
My heart is steady failing.
Beating.
Beating.
From your mystique.
It falls from a mountain peak.
Falling,
“CRASH”
And hits the floor.
Knocking on deaths door.
I loved you once,
but no more.
Love didn’t care,
my heart now lorn.
And causes me to mourn,
for myself.
I no longer have no need for love,
for its useless for all else.
Love loves no one,
But Itself.

"love loves no one but itself"--I like that line, and it's a good end to the poem. overall I like this, my only criticism is that some of the lines felt awkward, like "Not my goal."
By the way, I like your username--that's why I clicked on you. Do you like the band Evanescence, or the word, or both?
