Dear Everyone and Everything
Dear Everyone and Everything,
Please stop changing;
Please keep things the same,
And stop people from aging;
I used to have the perfect friend,
But she slowly slipped away;
I love her still, no doubt,
I say it everyday;
Life is extremely painful,
And sometimes you think;
That life is getting better,
But suddenly you blink;
You realize that nothing is right,
And makes your mind soar;
I used to believe in miracles,
But not anymore;
Everything I live for,
The two people I need;
It's all gone,
Leaving me alone to bleed;
I said I love you,
I begged you not to go;
Why did you leave me,
Because I need to know;
I see the faces,
It's all in my head;
I hear the voices,
Then memories spread;
I burst into tears,
Fists pounding on the floor;
Wanting things back to normal,
How it all was before;
I've come to the realization,
That you'll never love me;
I'll take all my memories,
Without so much as a plea;
Dear Everyone and Everything,
Please stop changing;
Please keep things the same,
And stop people from aging.
