My freshman year Eisenhower thought I was stupid
But I saw this as a challenge who knew I would come to it
By second year I moved up in 3 classes
Right then and there I showed all their asses
Now in my junior year I’m doing very well
Just look at the title if you can’t really tell
Gods been good to me so there’s no reason to fuss and wail
I also thank God that I have the smarts to stay away from jail
I’m thankful for being born in the best country on the planet
I don’t think any other country can be as blessed as mine can it

I was blessed with 2 arms two legs
Not to mention I still have my head
I’m thankful for a mind of my own
I also live inside a very warm home
I want to someday get to heaven
While my friends want some sexing

I’m thankful for my family and I really really love them
They are always with me nothing ever goes above them
People always wish what they could or what they would
But nobody slows it down to take a look at all the good
I look dead and a little deprived
But I thank God that I’m alive
