Crawfish Monica
Thousands are already here,
Carefree times draw dangerously near.
I see musicians and physicians and beauticians everywhere;
People fishin’ for some wishin’ or just dishin’ about the air.
Wearin’ boho or even disco, what a motley crew,
Drinkin’ SoCo and goin’ loco cause “they all asked for you.”
Folks are jammin’ to the slammin’ music that’s rammin’ into expecting ears;
People whammin’ on their air drums and crammin’ ever near.
Get your crawfish for eatin’ and your foldin’ chair for seatin’ to your feet assuage;
Give your fleetin’ waves of greetin’ before Ezra hits the stage.
“Who Dat!” says New Orleans, in the words of Coach Peyton.
So when you come to NOLA in springtime, the good times ain’t abatin’.
