One Day
One day he’ll find his way home
Because He’s not out there all alone
Keep the search going
He’s out there knowing
The care the world is giving
Is all that keeps him living
All our thoughts and faith
Will keep his mind feeling saved
So just believe he’s near
And your pain will suddenly go down a gear
I know that thinking he’s alive
Is something we all can strive
We may send a prayer
Asking “him above” why is this fair
But understanding it’s part of the plans
That he’s leading us through with open hands
Looking for the clues
May send us looking blue
But in the very end
Is when our hearts mend
All of us sharing our love
Is starting to think that he’ll be found from “him above”
When we all understand
Is when it’s time to take the stand
So looking for the worlds help
Is all that can be dealt
It what keeps us hoping
That somewhere we’ll hear his moping
