Tearing, twisting
Some fleshy emotion separating
inside this dark world I'm trapped in.
Laughter, interactions filter through-
Grazed by my skewed perception
void of jealousy or contempt.
to carve through these walls to join requires dismissal,
not deflection of others from against this solid imprisonment.
pulling apart, forced dismemberment of this creature that is me
Now confused at standing, common perception
Holds me upright, whole,
and my own eyes reject this form of me that seems complete.
