Fragile
Like a baby bird
Like thin glass
Like a heart broken
Or words that should not have been spoken

Delicate
Like a flower
Like baby's hands
Like ribbon strands
Or true loves first kiss shared by the young and foolish

Hard
Like a diamond
Like father's stern tone
Like choices made
Or finding the right words to express a deep emotion

Unforgiving
Like a hard concrete fall
Like the tears my eyes cried
Like the pain that never dies
Or the memories that replay over and over in my mind
