The Dancers
The way dancers move,
Just floating across the stage,
As calm and as soft as the waves,
Feeling the music,
Becoming one,
With the sounds and the beats and the ways,
Of the steps and the arms and the heads,
Captivating everyone watching the dancers,
Creating art with their bodies and feelings,
The dancing so strong,
The emotions so true,
That it feels like their watching a play,
And that is the reason,
Us dancers keep dancing,
Spreading our story along,
Keeping the joy and the pain and the laughter,
Of this form of art that we all belong.
