Alone
Amidst the darkness of the night
I see the star kissed sky
The smell of flowers full in bloom,
The flowers plump and bright
But deep within the beauty
Lies a place forlorn and close
I hide in there, my shelter
Afraid of being known
Trapped inside I cannot see
The brilliance from afar
I can only dream of such radiance
When confined in misery, and not knowing who you are
Surrounded by this delicacy
One must feel at home
But yet, inside I feel a stir
Because I feel alone
