Carte Blanche
Let's go back.
Back to the beginning.
The screen is fading to black and the names are scrolling up.
But this movie isn't done.
The rest of my life has just begun.
That's right. I pushed the restart button.
I'm starting over.
Carte Blanche.
A "Blank Card," if you will.
I am new.
I am reborn.
You may say people never change,
but au contrair ;)
I beg to differ.
Nothing is set in stone.
Neither am I.
I feel like a new person.
I'm on top of the world, and nothing can bring me down.
I can take on anybody and won't be defeated.
Nothing can get in my way.
You know why?
'Cause it's a brand new day.
I am going to sing at the top of my lungs and dance in the rain.
I'm going to make a 180 turn on this wrong way street.
I'm going to smile back at the sun, because nothing is going to rain on my parade.
I'm going to grow from my scars and make my own shooting stars.
Who says you don't get second chances?
They just don't know how to grab life by the handel bars and turn this around.
I pushed stop and rewind.
Now the old me is left behind.
