Leaders Unfit for our Hearts
So your think your holy huh? Could you help me out with this?
When the heart is hard and dried up of love,
come upon me with your so called abundance of mercy.
When grace is lost from what you call a life,
come with a burst of song tingling with resonance.
When tumultuous work raises its uproar on all sides blocking me out from
that malevolent void between these two realms, come to me, my lord of love, life, joy, and death,
with your peace and rest please come within my hollow cracked chest and heal it's palpitated rhythm
of broken love and misinterpreted truths of what truly is up above
When my destitute heart sits crouched, shut up in a corner,
break open the door, come weep on my shoulder, and come with the ceremony of a king.
When desire blinds the mind with apparition and dust, O so called holy one,
so called wakeful, come with your light and your thunder and just try to not to be hateful.
