You hear me,
but you're not really listening.
You see me,
but you're not really paying attention.
I exist,
but in your eyes,
I'm not really there.
I know who you are,
but I don't really know you.
You like me, but that's just in my head.
I'll always remember you,
but watch how quickly you'll forget me.
That's because how can I be remembered
for words I've never said?
