Beware
No tales to tell this creatures mold,
Eyes that are never seen,
But the form of a hidden face,
With arms and hands that reach,
No chains can keep this creature still,
No hands can bind its breath,
No whisper of seductive sins,
Can beguile another’s death,
It sneaks upon our every move,
And like a mask we cannot tell,
What is behind the golden paint,
And the sounds of death knell.
If you know of this creatures face,
Of eyes and ears and breath,
Then make a note and give me a hint,
So that I might watch my path.
