What the front door.

Let all the lies slide down
Onto a glass floor of the second story.
I'll paint it white and drill in tiny holes
So that maybe you can pretend
That it's just a popcorn ceiling.
I'll darken the lights until
these walls and barricades
Become figments of your imagination.
Whatever it takes is all it takes
To make you feel better.

Once I slip and fall
on your newly waxed floors
This illusion of ours will fade.
First you will hear the walls crumble,
Then you'll look up and see
The glass cracking above you.
Relax, it's just a popcorn ceiling.

The author's comments:
This is about doing or saying anything to make someone feel better. Like..."Are you sure I'm not bleeding?" "Oh no. You're fine, you're fine."

Quoting yourself makes you an ass.

People don't seem to understand the pure beauty in your verbal violence... As if the wild wilderness would still be beautiful without a bear crushing a deer in the distance.

I love this.

That missing 's' is hugely significant. Do you love it or lose it when they kill you with philosophy?  I think it to be both. When you're killed with philosophy, you lose that heart of yours. But few things are better to be killed by than philosophy...

My works have no intention of doing so.

If you tickle yourself, then you may laugh whenever you please.

Ah, you see, I'm just one of them American Spanish-speakin' fellers. I also know eight words of German, but three of them are obscene.

Wow, shucks Boosflash! You sure know how to make a raven blush.

the "a" should have an apostrophe comma thing over it (l'accent aigu?) which makes it a different word. fait is a form of the verb faire which means to do or to make. so do your dance. you can stick that to the translator. you give very poetic comments captain. i am in awe of your awesomeness.

I knew it! No smiley face can have any chance against me in such a contest unless it has been taught to do so.

:) ...  ;)     Man, mine always blink.

The translator says, "no, they don't speak the France has Jacksonville. Makes your dance." Words of wisdom, I say. As to your question, I have only been through your drawer a handful of times, running away when I hear you approach.

I had a staring competition with your smiley face. It went on for two minutes, then I cried for a solid five once I lost.

Do they speak French in Jacksonville or something?

Great work, Dr. Boosflash, great work! Indeed, lies slide, and they are rather disgusting and oily as they do so. Anyway, I quite liked this. Especially that all of our troubles are not troubles, but a popcorn ceiling... LOVE IT!
