The Blame
I thought this was it, I’d call it almost the end.. He looked at me only emotion anger in his eyes. His words stained with disdain, me taking all the blame. He looking past my face, never once offering embrace. I with no solace for my fear wished to be anywhere else but here. Shame me for your feelings that I hope will soon recover, but I know I only did it so we could be right with eachother. Right before God first because I want to be together forever. I pray this sacrifice now will make things better for our future. Forgive me for my wrongs against you I want things to be the same, for my heart is wrenching itself in two in dealing with the shame of your blame.
