Put It On Paper MAG
So I'm writing to put my thoughts on paper
But I can't think in simple terms
My thoughts too diverse to take one flavor
While my emotions have a couple lessons to learn
My mind's busy watching over my heart like a parent
It's clear my heart's irresponsible and can't take a hint
Always getting in trouble, but can I blame it for being young?
Always thinking without consequence, but what's wrong with fun?
I know I'll regret it; hopefully it won't be sooner, but later
Until then I'm getting bored with these emotions, the repetition of motions
I'm starting to hate this long road, ignoring the roses, stuck on gold
Remembering that today is the prelude for the next day
And that tomorrow could very well be a summary in a way
Or worse, tomorrow could end up a grim conclusion
That tomorrow can change the plot into a thing of confusion
Forcing me to have to look back to yesterday too late
Searching for the turning point and only seeing mistakes
Just to find my rationality crushed and destroyed
And the epitome of my soul empty and devoid
With the proof sitting on this little piece of paper
Looking at the clock, realizing the clock is striking later
