Her hair flows in the wind
as tears stream down her face
She realizes with sadness
while looking up at the strong rabbit before her
He has waited many months
for his owner, mother, friend
He has fixed himself with permanent injury,
looking for her
Trying to sneak a peak of her
if she were to show
His head lay tilted
like the horizon line surrounding him
Strips of fur missing around his eyes
from when disappointment settles in
after a long day, only to relive it the next
The only reason he has to go on
is the chance to see her face again
