Storm Within
As the dark clouds form,
Thunder begins to rolls in-getting louder and stronger over time.
Heat begins to rise but no rain falls.
Where am I in all of this?--Sitting and thinking about him.
The thunder represents my heart and head.
How it pounds and cries loudly whenever I think about him.
The heat represents my desire--my want and need for him.
--No rain, no tears--
For weeks, just like the sky my eyes remain dry.
But the storm within me continues.
Lightning flashes
Instant shocks to my heart and mind causing the thunder to increase.
But still no rain.
Looks as though this storm is passing too.
But it shall return again for it is the never ending storm within.
