That Poor Little Girl
A broken home
A broken life
A broken heart
A broken dream
No one saw her
Nor knew she was there
That poor little girl
Had someone known
The pain she knew
Would she have survived?
Or seen an other day?
Maybe staying silent
Was what caused her to fade
That poor little girl
A smashed window
A broken bone
Maybe atear stain on a fragile cheek
Her hair in knots
Her clothes still on from yesterday
And still we do not see
That poor little girl
A child is a gift
A miricle all its own
A magical being
Someone to love and be loved by
Should this one soul be forgotten
As one of thoes gifts
That would be
That poor little girl
No one saw
No one knew
A broken soul
Carried on in this world
That poor little girl
