Untouchable
Come now cloud of fire.
Shake the earth.
When will promises be fullfilled?
Have you forgotten?
Lightning strikes, too far from me.
Lighting fields on fire,
fields no one ever thought would burn.
Why not me?
I am here to consume.
When will I burn, becoming as you are?
Untouchable.
Instead I drown.
Sorrows are so great.
They fill my lungs and my heart, cutting off vital ties,
my life will slip away.
Do you even care?
I am but a vessel.
Filled with what?
I know not.
I used to know.
I used to know for certain.
Now I wait alone again.
Night after night.
What use are my tears?
They drive you away, it would seem.
Come to me, please.
With all the strength I have left,
I will cry out to you.
Don't leave me here.
I can't swim.
Can your fire burn water?
