Sunflower
sunflower, sunflower,
earths divine,
specks of golds and ever greens,
fields of you divide,
you watch the sun,
as the rest watch the stars,
and when the sunsets
only the silence hears your cries
you face the earth and close your arms to your face,
holding your head in shame
as you wait to feel the touch of light
and turn to greet the sun again.
