Deception of Our Love
Demons are Angels n disguise,
Saving you while you cry yourself to sleep each night,
They touch your soul see past your lies,
Whisper in your ear to give up this fight,
Tears fall to the sheets and they pull you close,
Sweet nothings of freedom pulse through your blood,
It sings so delicious your brain is in overdose,
Red spills, stains the cloth making a gentle rose bud,
Slipping in and out like crashing waves,
You fall down, down till you think you’ll drown,
The demons they kiss you as you flash in and out of their dark caves,
Promises of that glorified jeweled crown,
And as you feel the cold touch of Death at your back,
The demons smile and turn away.
