All Broken
Sticks and Stones
How sharp are these sticks?
How big are these stones?
That crush me with a blow
They can’t even compare to a fiery stare
And a harsh word from your lips
Broken Bones
Mean nothing
Because soon enough they heal
It’s the anger that through them
The taunts that I hear
When I gaze at the scars they left
Words
Are the most vile weapon
Hate and fury fuel them
They demolish my spirit
Break my heart
And kill me from within
