Confused?
If there is avail to the doves,
The hopes are not cellars
Our time is not ash.
No river, for we go to the mountaintop
Carrying flowers from our grand days
Holding our thick teardrops
And vanishing fears
We are not dead
We still have the strength to move on
Of happiness
We create our features,
Create our calendars
No disappointments
And under a cloud’s embrace
We still have a right
To cover the village in serene light
We return to our warm houses
With no lamps of regret
And celebrating our futures
Our lives are more than stars
Glistening like waves in space
High above us watching
From sunset to dawn,
The stars are our hope
We look for their guidance
Our lifetimes are not dead leaves
They are trees shining in the sun
A burst of joy
Now thrive in our recognition
Sewn together with sunlight
