Twinkling Raindrops
Swish, swish, swish.
The raindrops begin to sprinkle slowly.
Driving around our familiar town,
The bright signs twinkle in the rain.
Gazing out of the window,
The moon is so large
We can almost reach out and touch it.
The taillights ahead of us are endless,
But we have nowhere to be.
The rain furiously floods the streets
As the sky unloads all of its water.
The rain lightens up, to little more
Than a mist.
We have made it through.
The wipers continue to move
Back and forth.
