i am writing graffiti on your body
i miss those brown eyes
sitting next to me
in that cold january class.
even if you played with her hair
instead of mine;
i have a good imagination.
i miss those easy days
after mr. caterpillar
kiss and told.
the way you'd laugh
even if i wasn't funny.
the way you scribbled hearts
around my name
even if she made you
erase what we had.
i even miss
the time my cheeks turned red
and you put your hand on my hip.
even if it was
just an embrace you wanted
i know it could've meant more
if she hadn't tapped your shoulder.
but the time i miss the most
was when our parents worked overtime.
and i met you
in front of the room
where i wrote a story about cars.
i could fill an ocean
with the salt water
that came from deep within.
but you didn't mind.
you held me close
and told me
that everything would be alright.
and i listened
and hoped you knew
what you were talking about.
now you're unresponsive
and we haven't talked
for a lifetime.
which means
my fairytale
is officially over.

It's the first poem I've ever written and I wrote it kinda quickly... So, I'm not sure if it's any good... But I hope you enjoy!
