Stained
As waves pass through my bones and blood
As strips of color pass me by
When I try to catch them
Run away
When I try to grab them
Slip away
These stains of color on my hands
The remnants of them keeping quite
Leeching through my skin and to my brain
Since then I have never
Been the same
Stained with splotches spread throughout my skin
Inconsistencies that signal them
Color blind
They see it black and grey
And I knew since then
I could not stay
