My King, My Rock
You are the one
They call healer
When you were
Here, you were teacher.
You are
My king.
And for you
I will sing.
You have set me
Apart from the dead,
Although, I too should
Have an X on my head.
Your name is
Forever exalted high
Peoples hands lifted
Toward the sky.
We rejoice in your
Name all day long
You have given us
A never ending song
Of what you
Have done
Apart from you,
There is none.
We will forever
Sing of your greatness
And how you
Always give forgiveness.
Of my salvation
You are my rock
On which I’ll
Always stand
I’ll always lift
My hand.
You are the key
To my lock.
You are my king
And still my friend
It’s amazing how
Your love will never end.
You have never ending
Mercy and grace
And no one will ever
Take your place.
For your love
I will yearn
With you as my teacher
Everyday I learn
Something so
Amazing and new
There is no one
As true as you.
You are my day
To day guide
Everyday you are
By m side.
With you I have
No enemy.
Not with your great
Love inside me
You hear my call
In the dead of night.
You are the one
Who gave blind sight
Everything about you
Is 100% right.
In my heart you
Have shined a light
You are a helper
To those who are weak
The speaker for
Those who are meek
When you give
Sight to the blind
When they look up
They will find
They can always
Count on your love
And see how it’s
Sent from above.
Even though my
Slate isn’t clean
Even though some of
What I’ve done is obscene
Yet still my
Treason you took
Deep in my
Heart you look
My sins you
Have justified
No matter how many
I failed when tried.
You came not to
Be served but serve
You gave me love
I did not deserve
For your love
I’m thankful
You showed me
I am lovable
