The Market
Here we are,
Out in a confusing sea of people and voices
We hear their cries of pleasure,
Their everlasting ecstasies of joy and happiness
We are two of these people in the crowds,
For we also cry out in delight,
Point out interesting artifacts,
And go window-shopping
Running around, looking at toys, trinkets, and food,
Now nothing can pacify our glee
For here in the marketplace,
We become one of them
We still have a feeling of eyes behind us,
Watching our every move,
But we do not give it mere thought
And watch a man try to escape
