Last Goodbye
I’m sorry.
I want to live,
But I need to die.
Does that sound confusing?
Good.
Because it is…
When I go,
I don’t want anyone to remember
What I’m about to do
But I need you to know,
That I love you with all my heart and soul.
And I’m not doing this to hurt you.
Just do me a favor
And keep living your life on for me.
Keep me in your memories.
And I just need one more thing
Before I leave this cold, heartless world.
And that thing is forgiveness.
I just want you, and my mom, and everyone else
To forgive and forget.
Forget all the pain and sorrow I’ve caused.
All the mistakes and damage that I’ve made.
Forgive me for everything that’s happened.
And so with this last breath, I tell you this…
I’m sorry…
