Childhood Memories
remember that time
we would sit in the back seat
and poke each other for no reason
I do
I remember scraped knees
From tripping over my own feet
that time when it rained
we splashed in puddles
until we were called inside
duck...duck...duck....goose!
that was fun
I see you! your it!
even better
i would color on the walls
my amateur artistic skills did not make mom happy
tattle tails were the worst
hours at a time
barbies were the best imaginative game
learning nursery rhymes
sung over and over again
when ever a bad dream occured
to moms and dads bed i went
mom your clothes were fun to play with
dad your boots were far to big
our childhood memories
are the past
but not forgotten
