I try to pay attention, but
it sure is harder than it seems.
I must stare at the instructor,
and must avoid all lofty dreams.
It sure is harder than it seems
to sit and not do what I please.
I must avoid all lofty dreams
and see all that the teacher sees.
To sit and not do what I please,
forced to stay in this strict prison,
and see all that the teacher sees,
I start to think thoughts of treason.
