Take my hand
Take my hand
And I can make you soar
And I can show you stars
And planets dying
Amid flashes of fire
And I can show you the ice
Of hearts
And the glow
In a mothers eyes
I can show you pillars of darkness
That inhabit souls
And waves of earth
As they tremble forth
Take my hand
And I can show you friendship
Laughter and Joy
I can show you acres of sadness
Grief and war
I can show you the cusp of the earth
And the roar of dying saurian’s
I can show you love
Compassion and kindness
I can introduce you
To cultures
Beyond imagination
Take you to places
Where the blood
Turns to ash
Take my hand
And I will present you heaven and hell
Take my hand
Or turn away

Great poem - goes back and forth from dark to bright in one fell swoop...nice ending too!
Good work
