the rebirth
As I arise from the ashes of the fire
That consumed me
Like a phoenix from the ash
I start new, I start over with memories
Of previous mistakes,
I believe in myself for The first time.
if It fades my smile will fail to hide my pain
But my past will not reflect my future.
For I am renewed, replenished, greater.
For I have been part of a process
Called rebirth.
I think for awhile and realize one thing to
Be reborn first you must die
That part of my past is cloudy
So I need to breath relax and watch my back
For I failed once
But never twice.
