Just a Book
It's just a book
You should not cry
It's just a book
But why tell me that lie
More real to me
Than all of you
With spring green meadows
And skies of blue
Where love rings true
And everyone is happy
It's what makes me smile
Even if its sappy
A place to escape
When no one will care
A place to be free
With no burden to bear
They hide behind covers
That might no look right
But who says they're bad
Maybe you don't have sight
Great things
Are found in a book
So why judge them
By how they look
No, It's just a book
Yes, Where I can be free
No, It's just a book
Yes, Where I can be me
