Memories
Lying down deep
Halting your every step
Every move hurts
Don’t you wish?
It was something different
A happy thought
That plagued your mind
A plague
It’s not
That would be welcome
It would only b
Be a physical pain
Pain as small
As a quick wisp of time
Like a snap
Thoughts hurt
They follow you
Your foot falls to the ground
But not before you reach
It first
Why did you do it?
Is still hurts you now
Like an arrow
Forever twisting forcing that hole in your hears
To grow bigger
Pushing in on your conscience
Closing you in
So no one can see your tears
You hide
Even from those you trust most
But can you really trust them?
Will they stab you in the back?
No.
You see
These thoughts
They have weight
They can’t stab
If no meat is provided
Keep it inside
Give it to the paper
Let you like in your body
But give your thoughts to
Me
