Stronger Than You Know
She hides in her room, tears in her eyes
It's another one of those days, where the skies are gray
All hope is gone, for some sort of happy ending
For they do not exist, not in this fairy tale
She's not the princess
with some royal highness
waiting to rescue her and ride off into the sunset
After all, someone has to get hurt
for the happy ending to come true
for someone else
Her only refuge is her friends and a boy
who toys with her
Clouds all around, she gets knocked down
and nobody cares at all
She picks herself up, and dusts herself off
There's nowhere to run away
Hoping the next day will bring some change
Thinking things will get worse before they get better
She prepares for another day
She is stronger than you know
