I am a bird.
I am a bird.
Meant to
Soar,
Meant to be
Free
and
ME.
You do not allow this.
You
Cover
Constrict
Confine
The bird I’m meant to be.
You make me LOATHE you,
You take away every INCH
Of what is ME.
You carve INDENTS
Into my fragile, helpless wings.
Prevent me from flying,
From achieving.
Regardless,
Your intentions are well.
You prevent me from flying
To protect from the fall.
However,
I despise you,
I abhor you,
I HATE you.
But I will forsake these wings,
For now.
Let loose
The essence of me,
And fill it with
The one thing you cannot sever.
For I
Cannot
WILL not
Stop loving you.
