Brownies
Soft, square, and sweet,
Brownies are all that I can eat.
Fluffy, sticky, warm, and yummy,
That’s how it tastes in my tummy.
I watch them bake,
The brownies I love to make.
Waiting to chew them slowly, gobble them fast,
Until nothing is left but crumbs that might not last.
It looks like it’s breathing in there.
I watch the middle of it rise with flare.
Finally, the timer beeps,
And I wake up from my long deserved sleep.
