if you are curious. I can also write a poem about most anything, so if you have a topic you want written about, just ask. :) (I hate the 250 characters thing!)

I've been jumping from the tops of buildings...

In the darkness, pitch black darkness
packs will gather near.
They start their search, their hopeful search,
with a hidden fear.

Their fear is that they will not find
sustenance they need
to stay alive through winter’s drought
and save young they feed.

As the hunger starts to set in,
weakness starts to spread.
If this weakness sets them back,
soon they might be dead.

Gnawing, smarting, biting, stabbing
hunger in those eyes.
Scarlet, pleading, and unyielding
eyes do not tell lies.

We humans can not begin to
understand these times.
These wolves must brave winter’s wrath as
we ring Yule time chimes.

I absolutely adored the last stanza. I got a shiver down my back when I read it. It is so true. I love your writing style. I have read almost every one of your poems and I think you are an amazing poet. I am amazed by your work and surpised none of it has been published in the magazine.
