The Thief
He didn’t belong to anyone, and no one belonged to him.
Sitting alone at lunch, he invited me to come and sit.
I accepted his strange offer, as we never talked.
My friends laughed and giggled and over to him I walked.
"Why am I here?" I asked with a huff and sigh.
Without an answer, he took my hand and looked right in my eyes.
"I like you, Lizzie, I like you a lot. Hopefully you feel the same."
I didn’t, so I said, "Look, I don’t even know your name."
"Justin, nice to meet you." He said with a wink and a laugh.
My heart melted, oh, no! I was falling for his trap.
Now, five months later, I'm glad I decided to sit.
Because now he belonged to me and I belong to him!~
